LETTIE + ROME

A Partnership Bringing Joy and Strength to Your Health Journey

Get to Know Us

Welcome to Lettierome; I’m so glad you are here.

Lettierome came to me one night as I was daydreaming of a time when roaming brought me much joy.  Lettie is French for Joy and Rome is a double entendre for strength and this path we roam. My life path has taken many twists and turns often dictated by a chronic illness: Myaglic Encephlomyelitis. It is here I am combining my personal navigation of the healthcare system, my naturopathic medical degree, and my passion for being an advocate for you to get the best possible care.

Your goal may be big or small; my goal is to help you reach it with compassion, determination, and without judgement, so your path is paved with joy, even under the most difficult of circumstances. I’ve written often about the word "patient." The doctor: patient dynamic in name alone is an unbalanced field. However, our relationship is built upon an even playing field. I am here to find you the best care, guide you, and be your cheerleader if needed. What I want you to know is you are not alone.

So how do we start? Like all of the best journeys, we take the first step. Your being here is the first step; next, we set up a Zoom or phone call to see where you are at, what obstacles you are facing, and how to get where you want to go. After that first meeting is where everyone’s path will take different roads.

"I met Heather Drekse 23 years ago at Medical School. I have known her as a student, doctor, and friend. She possesses all the attributes of a healer. She's knowledgeable, caring, and has a great understanding of chronic illness. You'll receive excellent care from Dr. Dreske."

Renee J.

"Heather has been instrumental in providing help and treatments over the past several years for my family. She is able to provide her services remotely through her diligence and vast knowledge in understanding wholistic health. Personable and approachable, she comprehensively explains symptoms, relationships, and how things work to a non-medical person. She makes people feel comfortable and genuinely cares about them, their health, and their overall quality of life."

Kristen C.

"I can't explain to you the valuable knowledge Heather shared with myself and my sister-in-law through her battle with cancer. Heather was not only genuinely concerned, she directed the steps we needed to take. She was so reassuring every step of the way! I definitely want her on my side, especially going through such a traumatic time in one's life. She was and is priceless."
